Our Site Rules
Our site rules are quite simple and follow the principles of the 3 R’s.
-
Respect for yourself.
-
Respect for each other.
-
Respect for the environment in which you are in.
This therefore means being respectful and considerate to yourself, other site users, the facilities and our local neighbours in the community.
Hey there....
The points below will therefore help achieve these principles and keep everyone happy:.
-
Arrival times from 2pm onwards (unless agreed prior to arrival).
-
Departure time by 12 noon (to allow cleaning of facilities).
-
Please adhere to the Countryside Code. The only thing you should take away from the countryside are memories, the only thing you should leave behind are footprints. Please follow the link in order to view the Countryside Code: The Countryside Code A5 Leaflet (peakdistrict.gov.uk)
-
Please keep to Public Rights of Way when walking out into the community. OS Maps are available for you to use or alternatively you can download the OS Map App.
-
As per the Countryside Code, always keep dogs under control and in sight when out walking. If there is livestock in a field, ensure your dog is on a lead.
-
Please leave facilities and your pitch as you find them.
-
Noise to be kept to a minimum and all quiet at 11pm.
-
Any music to be kept on a low volume and turned off at 11pm.
-
Dogs to be kept under control and on a leash at all times.
-
All dog foul to be cleaned up by owners and disposed of in the bins provided.
-
No open fires on the field. Any barbecues and fire pits must be raised off the ground in order to not burn the grass.
-
Any visitors to the site are charged at £1 each. This is a contribution to car parking and use of facilities.
-
Any deposits or site fees paid are non refundable, but are transferable to an alternative date, should you have to cancel your original booking.
By booking and staying at our site, you are agreeing to the above site rules. We are a small quiet family run site and we aim to keep it that way. If you want to PARTY with your friends and family, we would politely suggest you find another site.
Thank you for your co-operation and we hope you enjoy your stay with us.
